December 2005, Boxing Day. A traditional pursuit meets as it always does in Hay-on-Wye for mulled wine and a draghunt across farmland. Support for the hunt has increased since the self-proclaimed moral elite in Westminster banned it. There are usually only a hundred or so followers; this year there were almost treble that. Here a young supporter shows her affection for her father's horse.
