Abutments of Monnington Footbridge

March 2008: Abutments of Monnington Footbridge - one of the ex-bridges across the Wye. This was still around until the 50's, and was a wrought iron affair and apparently quite attractive. Washed out during a flood, it was never replaced. Nowadays you have to cross by Bridge Sollers downstream, or Bredwardine upstream.
