August 2006: The Cullins, Isle of Skye. Known as the 'Scottish Alps' this impressive and unbelievably compact mountain range features everything you could want - lochs, ravines, views, and Sgurr Alasdair which is 973 meters high. This is the glacier-gouged Loch Corrusk, and a pretty little natural basin.
