October 2005: Tour of Poland, courtesy of Znak publishing and the British Council. A local train appears out of the fog at Wroclaw station. The trains in Poland are mostly old soviet-era stuff, made in Poland. They run pretty much on time, are comfortable and clean. They use the old 'compartment' layout I remember from British Rail in the seventies.
