Victoria and Alfred docks

September 2005: The Victoria and Alfred Dock, Cape Town. (Yes, it was Alfred. He turned the first spade of soil on the dock complex, but they couldn't leave the Empress's name out of the title) It is still a working dockyard, and these Chinese trawlers had been slipped out for maintenance. That's the downtown in the background, and Table Mountain, in cloud.
